The Gartner Symposium ITxpo the week of October 19 included several sessions that focused on unified communications. Marty Parker wrote an article for NoJitter that commented on the Gartner analysts’ perspectives. Each of the Gartner presentations described in the article offered advice for immediate, ‘Next Monday’ actions. The essence of these recommendations is to ‘Devise or update your communications strategy’, with attention to Unified Communications (UC).
